Mission Statement

The Mercy College Mission Statement is comprised of the following three statements.

• We build foundations of optimism, faith, knowledge and creativity
• We strive to achieve our greatest potential
• We fashion a better world in keeping with God’s plan

The purpose of the College is to educate, by developing the whole person academically, spiritually, socially, culturally, physically and emotionally. This development is based on respect for self and others, with an emphasis on personal responsibility for actions. The qualities of love, mercy and forgiveness should characterise all relationships.

Through our attempt to integrate faith and life, we will strive ‘To Serve Christ’ in both the Mercy and wider communities.
